Jim Castrataro
Head of Operations
In 1996, Jim began his professional journey at Babson College as a camp administrator. Over the course of 24 years, Jim introduced a groundbreaking model that allows collegiate coaches to seamlessly transition into on-site camp director roles during the summer months. This innovation not only maximizes the expertise of these professionals but also consistently delivers high-quality camp experiences, making it a standout in the industry.
Jim’s extensive experience includes successfully working with local boards of health, securing permits for over 200 camps throughout his career. His work within higher education has provided him with a unique understanding of institutional requirements, enabling him to expertly collaborate with key departments such as Human Resources, Risk Management, Legal Counsel, Public Safety, Food Service Providers, and Facilities Management.
Jim holds a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Southern New Hampshire University, complementing his bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Babson College.
